Great Lakes Advisors wanted to create a video highlighting their Disciplined Equity team in Tampa and the capabilities they offer. The video would be used as a sales piece in order to attract business from financial advisors.
The Challenge
The challenge we faced was making this a compelling video while also making sure all the details of the financial institution were accurately portrayed. Converting tax managed solutions into a creative video was a challenge itself, so we did not want to mess with any of the information, but instead make sure the video objective remained clear and digestible.
Our Approach
We learned the in’s and outs of the disciplined equity team to better understand what the video needs to be about. We advised against using elements like charts and math equations to avoid overwhelming the concept or making it appear like a powerpoint. Instead, we used strong soundbites and beautiful shots of the team and office to have a more personable approach to attract financial advisors.
